Dr. Wandera is an accomplished professional in Business Strategic Management (PhD), a Certified Public Accountant (CPAK) and currently pursuing the Certified Human Resources Practitioner (CHRP) course. His experience spans a period of more than 12 years where he was actively involved in the corporate world in his early years before joining the training and consultancy field where he has served for more than 9 years.
Dr. Wandera is aggressive, result oriented and derives a lot of passion in success! He has greatly contributed towards robust development of Small and Medium Enterprises, Multi-National Corporations, Parastatals, NGOs and many others through assessing the viability of potential projects; helping secure the investments; monitoring and evaluating the implementation process; and developing realistic plans for growth, turnaround, stability and continuity.
He is a Human Resource Management Professional Registered and Licensed by the Institute of Human Resource Management of Kenya with a strong background of strategic management, Human resources and supply chain management. He was the director of Human Resource Management and advisor on Human Resource Technical Matters to the County Secretary of the County Government of Lamu. Formerly a Senior Lecturer with over 7 years experience in Human Resource and Supply Chain Management. Dedicated to the profession of people development recognized by commendations, innovative integration of technology and hands-on activities to support learning and performance tested concepts and best practices. He has over 15 years experience in private consultancy cutting across different types of institutions.
He holds a masters degree in Sociology (Community Development option) of the University of Nairobi with over thirty five (35) years of working experience gained from working with Development Consultancy, NGOs and Government sectors. His experience is in participatory development methodologies both for rural and urban communities in implementing community-based projects in the sectors of Water, Education, Agriculture and small business development. He is skilled in participatory training methods and group dynamics specifically focusing on Community Organization and Leadership development. He has seen through many government projects to success level and delivered results that surpass stakeholders expectations.
